Leadership Profiles

Prior to his executive search career, Ben served as Senior Managing Director and General Counsel for a financial services firm where he was responsible for advising the board of directors and fellow officers on matters relating to governance, risk management, transactions and employment matters. Prior to his role as General Counsel, Ben practiced with major law firms in Silicon Valley and Chicago where he advised corporate boards, CEOs and venture capitalists on corporate transactions.
Aside from his professional activities, Ben has served on the Rush University Medical Center Junior Board in Chicago and Unity Temple in Oak Park, Illinois. Ben earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drake University.

Prior to his executive search career, Ben Sr. enjoyed an extensive career serving in a series of executive leadership roles with several global corporations. This, coupled with his CEO tenure for a successful 30+ unit restaurant chain, has enabled him to provide clients with unmatched perspective and insight into the assessment and recruitment of exceptional executives.
Apart from his professional endeavors, Ben Sr. is actively engaged in various professional activities and charitable organizations. He actively participates in the Union League of Chicago and Metropolitan Family Services and has served on the Board of Directors of DePaul University’s Kellstadt Business School. Additionally, Ben Sr. dedicates his time and expertise to Old St. Pat’s Catholic Church, where he has served on the Board of Directors. Ben, Sr. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from DePaul University.
